Notice of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2008

Georgian Bay Sailing Centre (GBSC)

As a member in good standing of the GBSC, with voting rights, you are hereby invited to the AGM, which will take place on Saturday, November 15th, 2008 at 1:00pm at the Ramada Hotel, Le Manoir Casino, Gatineau (Hull).

Other documents as the 2007 AGM minutes (in French) to be presented during the AGM will be available on the Centre’s Web site.

As you know, it is very important for the good of the Centre that members attend the AGM. We must have a quorum of 20 members for it to be held. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your voting rights by proxy to a member of your choice using the enclosed form. Note that a member may not hold more than three proxy votes.

At the meeting, the Board of Directors would like to take advantage of having many members present to discuss the main elements of the 2008 program.This will be an ideal time for you to offer your comments and suggestions on the administration of the Centre and its programs.

You will also be able to register for the 2009 season and take advantage of the early registration discounts available.

We are planning a great supper at the restaurant Le Bifthèque, 75 Edmonton Street, Gatineau (Hull), at 6:30pm, as a great way to end the season.
